Tea For Comfort
The cooler weather is among us and what better way to combat these chills than with a hot cuppa tea? I believe in the power of tea and its comforting properties. Not only is it ideal for when you're having a long stressful day as it just instantly relaxes you, but it is great for when one is sick and in need of something healing. Indeed there are thousands of teas out there claiming to be great, but when I say this tea is AMAZING, I truly mean it. I seriously feel warm and cozy just by the aroma and atmosphere it creates at home when I make this tea, which is quite often, yes.
It includes ingredients you probably already have at hand so nothing fancy about what's in it, the magic comes when everything comes together. The preparation itself is so simple, that when you try it once, there will not be a reason why you wouldn't/shouldn't make it several times more. Serve with dainty sandwiches, cookies or small cakes for your afternoon or evening rest, but alone tastes just as delicious. Some people may add milk (I am one to never add milk to my teas; I really don't like it) but it is truly not necessary as the spices are so delicate yet strong, that the milk will just diminish the flavor it is meant to have.
