Connecticut New Build Home
Synonymous were commissioned by a young couple to create an outstanding family home as first time buyers. Being that we were brought on during the new build's framing phase, the Synonymous team were able to outline both the interior architecture and design for the major spaces throughout. These include the kitchen, entryway, great room and dining room. We specified all the finishes to compliment a contemporary space that still felt warm and inviting with a nod to the traditional. The Ideal blank canvas for the client's desired furniture and accessory selections.

Bayside, Queens Kitchen Renovation
This kitchen renovation located at Bayside, Queens, NYC turned an outdated kitchen into a bright, modern farmhouse meets French bistro space for the older couple living in this home. Synonymous were commissioned to reconfigure the layout as well as the cabinetry within to maximize storage. The result specified adding new windows, closing off another, which would allow us to introduce more cabinetry. Recessed lighting, dark slate floors enabling a beautiful contrast against the all white cabinetry and subway tile backsplash were also added. Locating a proper spot for the refrigerator was at the top of the to do list as well as a wider window above the sink and even a floor to ceiling pantry, increasing the amount of closed storage space available.
