This bathroom started out very dated, dark, while feeling too closed off. However, it offered a common footprint in which to infuse new life into.
High Class, Sophisticated Principal Bedroom
Utilizing the calming effect of a tonal color palette and glistening details we were able to achieve a luxurious retreat that feels inviting, yet expansive.
A champagne, gold, taupe and dusty pink color palette was utilized for an exquisite retreat with subtle cues from nature seen in the patterns and textures throughout.
Feminine, Spa Like Dressing Room
Taking cue from the ambiance emitted from a luxury hotel spa, Synonymous set out to design a dressing room that felt calm, serene and refreshing.
Synonymous were commissioned to dream up a modern farmhouse master bedroom that felt sophisticated, tailored and totally different than the known standard.
With the chaotic city as our backdrop, we wanted to design a serene, calm and subdued space that felt anything but loud. Taking neutrals and taupes as our main color palette, Synonymous set out to produce the ultimate is relaxation.
Masculine, Textured Filled Dressing Room
Men need dressing rooms, too, right? Synonymous created a space that felt deliberately masculine, yet chic. The overall feel is stylish reminiscent of a Tom Ford boutique.
Refreshing and Airy Principal Bedroom
After spotting a photograph of the Saudi Arabian Desert featuring gorgeous hues of rust, caramel, celadon green and lilac, the Synonymous team based the entire room around this inspiring location, while keeping the overall feel refreshing and light.

Celestial Inspired Baby Boy Nursery
The Synonymous approach for themed spaces is to introduce the “elements” in a subtle way as to give the hint that indeed this room is “celestial themed” but it‘s not obvious. Lots of textures and a struct color palette are used to reference the whimsical idea.
Elegant and Chic Townhouse Living Room
Taking cue from couture fashion, Synonymous stumbled upon a Valentino outfit featuring the exact same shades appearing on this design. The team thought it the perfect color scheme for a sophisticated and chic take on subtly rustic.
Subtly Safari Themed Baby Girl Nursery
Initially, a pink nursery was envisioned and as the Synonymous team were going through the scheme it felt too pink. Then, BAM! The chicest wallpaper, which we've been coveting forever, came along. That was the starting off point to this sweet take on the animal kingdom.
The idea behind this design was to create a tonal, moody space reminiscing of a cocoon. A monochrome approach is our preferred way of conveying a refined, sophisticated ambiance.
This design is all about texture and echoing of the patterns throughout. Looking closely, everything references each other, which we love and totally recommend for a space that inherently flows together nicely.
A compact principal bathroom was turned into a luxurious, bright and highly functional space that still feels incredibly spacious and beautiful.
