Our Favorite Oversized Art
Happy Labor Day, everyone. I'm off from college today, so I'm taking advantage and drafting several blog posts for the upcoming days. Yay! Now, all of the pieces you'll find in today's round-up are only available for purchase through Synonymous, for they are "To The Trade Only" artwork that will surely elevate any space. Instead of featuring items that you can buy from big-box stores, we thought it would be a lovely change to share with you a few of our favorite oversized art pieces, straight from designer's catalogues, so that you too may have a chance at exclusive art. Our goal with art is to inject visual interest, color to our spaces, while personalizing them further. We've always been fans of large, substantial pieces of art because they are great for filling an entire wall or adding drama. If I had to choose, I'd probably always use a large piece of art rather than a small one because I just love the impact that a big piece adds. You may use these pieces anywhere in the home, really. We specially love them placed above sofas, console tables, fireplace, on a narrow wall, hallway or an entryway. Oh, yes, in an entryway would look amazing! The best part is that you will be simulating the museum gallery style in your own home. That's always a step forward.
We absolutely love these oversized pieces because we clearly have a thing with abstract landscapes, mainly, though a real passion for sophisticated art featuring soft colors. Numbers 7, 8, 16, 18 and 19 are very fun additions to any playroom, study or "cool room" in the home, so we just had to include them.
