It goes without saying... "thou shall not be distracted by the actors in the scenes".  Let us focus on what's truly important :D
Go ahead, take it all in and get inspired by these beautiful spaces.  Notice all the different decor items and neat details.  I'll try to point out the ones that come to my attention but by all means, please comment below on what you like the most.

Living Rooms

Urban Simplicity

This space has a lot going for it, with its chic looking grey sectional, clear coffee table, (find a similar one HERE) exposed whitewashed brick and a whole lot of warmth from the wood tones.

This is the hallway going into the apartment.  I love the great use of space, with the small console table at the side as well as the coat rack.  Notice it also has crispy white walls.  (I'm really loving that look).  Similar console table HERE.

   Classic & Nautical

Do you like boats?  I love boats.  This living room design is the perfect example of how you can incorporate this "love" into your space.  To recreate this look, choose sandy toned colors (beige, tan, linen) for your main couch and then accent it with bolder colors like orange, powder blue and a couple hints of red and green on the decor pieces.  This is my absolute favorite living room space of all the shows I've seen.

*Girl swoons over the amount of space in this living room*  Wow.  That console table behind the couch is very airy and the wood tone matches the fabric of the couch.

Don't you just adore how every section of this space just ties in within itself?  I'm looking at the green furniture behind the accent chairs and the painting above it which feature the same exact shade of green.

Now let's talk bookcase built-ins. *Girl swoons again over the built-ins*.

I have to admit, that couch is actually very great.  It works so well in this neutral, nautical space.

Lets bring our attention to the accent chairs once more.

Living Rooms On TV

Wow!  Those accent chairs are so gorgeous.  These are one of my favorite chairs of all time and I am glad to share with you a similar version HERE.  These chairs are sophisticated, elegant, yet casual enough for an everyday living space.  They work great in any room for that chic, upscale feel.

The boats are another amazing accent decor piece to include to any nautical themed space.  Although, note that your space doesn't have to be themed this way to include such a lovely assortment of modeled boats.  You can find very similar models HERE.

And those black frames against the white walls, look amazing. I also really like the layout.

Yep, those are skylights.  *Girl swoons yet again*.

A few bold, pops of color really look great in such a neutral space.  Those flowers are gorgeous.

Notice the dresser?  It is serving as a console table or dinning space buffet, to store plates, napkins etc.

I know this because right next to it is the dining space <--- I'll discuss more about them in another post....

Sophisticated Elegance

This very upscale inspired living room looks expensive but also cozy and inviting.  I love the tufted bench (you can find a similar one HERE) as well as the couches.

This space feels traditional, but with a twist of chic and glam at the same time.  To create a similar space, couches with interesting texture and styles are preferred.  Velvet couches, anyone?

Classic Glamour

Oh wow, that couch is so stunning.  Look at those curves.

And that wall paper at the background.  Wow, this is glamour at its finest.  I would've never thought of combining so many things together.  But it truly works.

Modern Country Chic

This living space is what I call chic at the country.  The tv show is set in Dallas Texas, in a ranch style home.  A lot of the design decisions reflect this.

This layout is ideal.  Everything so symmetrical, makes me so happy. Also, check out those stairs, people.  Wow!

Living Rooms On TV

I really love the style of tripod floor lamps.  It is absolutely ideal to create a modern, yet classic feel to any space.  I found an exact match HERE.  The white couches also make me very happy.

Here is a closer look at those fabulous looking stairs.

Mid Century Modern

Although I don't necessarily enjoy this style of decor, I can't help but really admire certain pieces that look great.  Everything in this living room is just working together very nicely.  The red leather couch and that pop from the accent wall behind matches with the blue couch.  Notice the red throw pillow on it? Ties in with the red of the other couch.  See?  It is all about tying the pieces together to create a cohesive look even if things don't actually match.

To find a very similar dresser like the one against the accent wall, check HERE.  (The price is very steep but it is the closest fit to the one in the photo).  For a cheaper alternative check HERE (found in target).

This is the hallway of the apartment.  The floors are more visible here.  Are they not lovely?  I'm imagining using a large stencil can recreate this look.  All the natural light coming from those french doors is great.  And the white walls?  I never appreciated them more.  The glass door knobs are a bit faint in this photo, but you can still see how absolutely gorgeous they are.  I really, truly, LOVE glass door knobs.

Similar Apartment

This is the masculine version of the apartment above.  In the show, the older man in the photo below is the neighbor.  As you can imagine, living in apartment buildings, apartments usually have the same floors and similar layouts throughout.  These two apartments feature the same exact floors.  This man however, opted for some darker colors when compared to his lady neighbor.

Hopefully you got some inspiration from these living rooms featured on tv shows.  Which one is your favorite?  We'll be discussing dining rooms/dining spaces next on my "ON TV" Series.

Next time you watch a show, keep an eye for the interior designs.  They are a real treat, yes.  If you're familiar with Downtown Abbey then you know how my jaw drops every now and then with those fabulous scenes.  If you ever wish to learn more about the featured shows just let me know and I'll be happy to elaborate on more than just the interiors.  HA! Those dramas are seriously something'.  Spanish soap operas (also known as Novelas) are my guilty, addicting pleasures.  I can watch them ALL day and my family can confirm this :D

Featured shows:  Relaciones Peligrosas (Available on Netflix with english subtitles), Tierra De Reyes and Pasion Prohibida <-- All from Telemundo
