Natural Room Freshener Spray
I am absolutely obsessed with a nice smelling home or room. I get a sense of "things are so clean" when something smells delicious. Think about how your home smells during laundry day. You're folding the clothes and once in a while lift it to your nose to take a long whiff of the scent. Hmmm, yes! Absolutely marvelous. I like sweet, soft scents that are warm and cozy yet invigorating.
This is why I am always interested in getting scented candles, room sprays or other equivalents. But those things can get expensive with time, specially if you use them up quickly like I do.
On top of that, the scents from store bought room fresheners are beyond disgusting when considering the amount of chemicals and artificial ingredients used. They are strong and fake too.
With essential oils you can create a similar product that is easy to make, natural, smells delicious and the ingredients are just three: Distilled water, alcohol (vodka) and an essential oil blend.
Essentially, this room spray is just like the Poo Spray I made before, but today I am bringing you some essential oil variations you can try out.
It is fun to create your own combinations of blends making you feel like a legit chemist. Woo-hoo! All you need is your special white lab coat and goggles. Jajajaja.
Here are some blends you can consider: (these just smell good, not necessarily intended for therapeutic benefits in mind) 30+ drops in total
Relaxing Blend
Lavender, lemon and vanilla
Energizing Blend
Peppermint, frankincense and lemon OR Sweet orange, grapefruit or lemon
Focusing Blend
Rosemary, peppermint, grapefruit and (spearmint (optional)
Sensual Blend
Sandalwood, bergamont or grapefruit, rose and jasmine
I went ahead and decided to make the energizing blend

This air freshener spray is so great. I love the scent and the possibility I have to create different combinations of scents depending on the season and the mood I would like to create at home.
